Who this notice covers

This notice covers the Sumati Joshi website and the Prarthana Preeti app. Sumati Joshi is the website owner and publisher of the app. Her husband, Sunny Bhanot, publishes the iPhone app on the App Store on her behalf. Read How Prarthana Preeti is published.

Prarthana Preeti is an independent devotional initiative made with the blessings, support and endorsement of Shri Kainchi Hanuman Mandir Trust, Kainchi Dham. It is not an official app operated or managed by the Trust. Sumati Joshi and Sunny Bhanot remain responsible for its development, publication, maintenance and support.

Prarthana Preeti

The current app has no user accounts or sign-in, displays no advertising, uses no analytics and does not collect personal data. It does not ask for a name, email address, telephone number, location or contact list.

Prayer content is included in the app and can be read offline. Your routines and practice records are not sent to us. The app does not provide its own cloud account or syncing service.

Information saved on your device

Reading and app preferences. The app saves your language, appearance, text size, text weight and last-read position. It also remembers your choices for haptic feedback and keeping the screen awake during Jaap.

Routines and reminders. Saved routine names, selected prayers, their order, reminder times and selected days are stored locally. Reminders use your device’s notification system and do not require an account.

Practice records. Ram writing counts, Jaap and mala totals, routine completion records and optional Sankalp settings and progress are stored locally so you can return to your practice. We do not receive these records.

Device backups and deletion

Your operating system may include this local app data in device backups or transfers, depending on your platform and backup settings. These are handled by your operating system and backup provider, not by a Prarthana Preeti account or server.

Uninstalling the app removes its local data from that device. Copies in device or cloud backups may remain under your backup provider’s settings and may be restored when you reinstall the app or move to another device. Manage or delete those backups through your device or backup provider.

This website

This website has no user accounts, newsletter, advertising or optional analytics. Its support form asks for a feedback type and message. A name and reply email are optional.

Form submissions are sent through Formspree, a form-processing service, to a private support inbox. Formspree receives, filters and may temporarily store the information needed to deliver the message. The details supplied are used only to review the message, respond when requested, investigate a correction or meet a legal obligation. Read the Formspree privacy policy.

Instagram preview

The With Maharajji page loads an Instagram profile preview automatically when you visit it. Instagram, provided by Meta, may receive your IP address and browser information and use cookies under its own privacy policy. This website does not add an Instagram tracking pixel.

Children

Prarthana Preeti does not provide child accounts or knowingly collect children’s personal data. Growing Readers is described on this website, but children cannot register. The support form is intended for adults and children should not submit personal information.
